The inexplicable performance phenomenon Cherdonna, the drag queen who's not a drag queen, is throwing a fundraiser at The Factory tonight called Cherdonna's Hard Ca$h Cabaret. I am one of the acts on the bill.

The other acts are Cherdonna's dance troupe DONNA, who recently concluded a marathon string of shows at Frye Art Museum, where they performed original works every day for three months straight; the dancers of Buttrock Suites ("Eighties hair metal meets modern dance"), which you may know from their hilarious holiday show The Buttcracker; and the hilarious, uncategorizable performer Queen Schmooquan.

I don't want to give away too much about what I'm reading, but I will say that it's a passage from a memoir-in-progress, that no one has seen it except for the three other members of my writing group, and that it has to do with Slog commenters.

Doors open at 7 for Cherdonna's Hard Ca$h Cabaret, and the show starts at 8.
