I was at a meeting of the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) in Huntington Beach California when the power went out at the hotel. Talk about ironic! It turned out that it was because of some Mylar balloons that had gotten loose and tangled with a power line.

Oh, how we laughed when we found out what happened! (That's the way utility people are)

Where is facts2guy to inform us that terrorists can use Mylar balloons to terrorize the city just as well as they could with bombs.

Or maybe it was for a particularly pedantic 3 year old ....

Remember, the Japanese tried to destroy Hanford with balloons to short out the power lines.
