Good Evening Charles,
For some reason, after reading your post, I thought of a song, "Quark, Strangeness and Charm" by Hawkwind, a Welsh band from back in the day. Seems the planets, stars et al are "subatomic" compared the universe. Wow, is Earth small.
Fascinating piece on phosphorus and its star building quality. Though I'm not so sure "sun worship" is the most rational of religions.

I always associated Islam with the sun god.
Old Testament, scarcer resources, harsh punishment.
New Testament, Eurosavages, laxity of punishment.
Check out the weather in Mecca. Dead in the middle of their 80-90 degree winter.
